And Do You Make Small Leather Goods?

And Do You Make Small Leather Goods?

This question came up so often at the end of 2017 that it motivated the launch of our first small leather goods collection. Because as always, the development of our products started from listening carefully to your needs and desires.

For the past few months, thanks to the growth of the brand and a more complete team, we had the chance to work on this new project that was really close to our hearts. Starting with a blank page and a list of questions we were looking for answers to:

  • What products do we want to offer?
  • What is the best place in the world to make them?
  • What materials do we want to use?

Finding the right production facility was the first and most important step. A lot of things came out of this meeting: the know-how that allows (or not) to make certain pieces, the materials recommended according to the construction used and of course, the quality.

So we started looking for different workshops in France, Italy and Spain. And it is in Ubrique, a beautiful village in Andalusia, known worldwide for the quality of its workmanship, that we found our happiness. In a family workshop managed for 40 years by two brothers and which counts today 35 employees, all used to work for great French and international luxury houses.

Once we found this workshop, we started to develop the models, and made nearly 20 prototypes in 2 months. The logic of creation remained the same as for our bags: pure designs, elegant lines and a permanent reflection on the use of the product.

Our goal was to create pieces that would naturally adapt to your daily life while keeping the pleasure of wearing a beautiful product with careful details.

The result is condensed in 8 timeless models, declined in different colors and materials. 30 references in total: enough to ensure you at least one favorite...or more.

Concerning the materials, two choices: a smooth and elegant calf from a Spanish tannery or a chic & refined caviar grain calf from a French tannery.

Just like what we defend daily at Léo et Violette, we wanted our prices to be as fair and transparent as possible: from 70€ to 200€.

This is the first time since the launch of the brand in 2013 that we are working on a project that involves so many new products at the same time. We are therefore very impatient before the official launch which will take place on July 5th at Studio Léo et Violette.

Our main hope: to have imagined products that will please you and follow you for many years.

And also to have the pleasure of saying a big "YES" when you ask us "And do you also make small leather goods?"
